The Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] Cougars baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Hatton/Northwood Thunder to 7 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen/Wing/Napoleon] (Steele, ND). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Thunder (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND). The H-CV Burros go into the Class B - Region II match with a 0-1 record.
