The Homer Pelicans baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Pleasant Hill Eagles to 3 in the Pelicans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pelicans (8-7) will now prepare for their match against North Webster (Springhill, LA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 9-12 record. In their last match, North Webster ran past Castor (Castor, LA), 8-3, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Florien (Florien, LA). The Blackcats go into the non-league match with a 10-11 record. In their last match, Florien was overwhelmed by Hicks (Leesville, LA), 15-0, in a non-league match.
