The Minster Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Parkway (Rockford, OH). The Panthers go into the Midwest Athletic match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Parkway was overwhelmed by Shawnee (Lima, OH), 8-5, in a non-league match.

The Chieftains (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Calvert (Tiffin, OH). The Senecas go into the Sandusky Bay - River match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Calvert gained a win over Genoa Area (Genoa, OH), 9-3, in a non-league match.
