The Golden Wave (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Starkville (Starkville, MS). The Yellowjackets go into the 7A Region 2 game with a 12-11 record. In their last game, Starkville was overwhelmed by Germantown (Madison, MS), 7-4, in a league game.

The Aggies (16-1) will now prepare for their game against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears go into the 3A Region 1 game with a 11-11 record. In their last game, Alcorn Central tipped Myrtle (Myrtle, MS), 10-8, in a non-league game.
