Georgia High School Baseball - Pope loses to Marist

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Marist War Eagles baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Pope Greyhounds.
The War Eagles (20-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions go into the 6A Area 4 game with a 17-6 record. In their last game, St. Pius X Catholic tipped Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Greyhounds (16-8) will now prepare for their game against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators go into the 6A Area 7 match with a 9-14 record. In their last match, Johns Creek was overwhelmed by Reavis (Burbank, IL), 3-1, in a non-league match.
