The William Penn Charter Quakers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas to 2 in the Quakers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Quakers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Churchmen go into the PAISAA match with a 10-1 record.
The Friars/Pandas (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA). The Crusaders go into the Philadelphia Catholic match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Father Judge was overwhelmed by Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA), 6-3, in a league match.
