The Muenster Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Tom Bean Tomcats to 4 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hornets (10-12) will now prepare for their match against Alvord (Alvord, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region II District 10 match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Alvord gained a win over Nocona (Nocona, TX), 11-0, in a league match.
The Tomcats (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Era (Era, TX). The Hornets go into the 2A Region II District 11 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Era was overwhelmed by Collinsville (Collinsville, TX), 10-0, in a league match.
