The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Plainfield Panthers to 3 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Immaculate was overwhelmed by Westhill (Stamford, CT), 14-11, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Lyman Memorial edged Ledyard (Ledyard, CT), 5-0, in a non-league match.
