The Ripley Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting West Union Eagles to 3 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (13-8) will now prepare for their match against Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Red Raiders go into the 4A Region 1 match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Shannon was overwhelmed by West Point (West Point, MS), 11-5, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Vardaman (Vardaman, MS). The Rams go into the 1A Region 4 match with a 17-3 record. In their last match, Vardaman edged Eupora (Eupora, MS), 9-7, in a non-league match.
