The Fremont Firebirds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS to 1 in the Firebirds non-league victory on Saturday.
The Firebirds now possess a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to American for a non-league game on Saturday, April 6. Fremont will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 league loss to James Logan (Union City, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
The FIGHTING KNIGHTS (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Dons enter the game with a 14-8 record. In their last game, Aragon nipped Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
