The Marshall Barristers held off the visiting Poly Parrots volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Barristers now have a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a test on Monday, April 8. Marshall will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Franklin (Los Angeles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.

The Parrots (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Vikings enter the test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Monroe was nudged by Poly (Sun Valley, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
