The Cate Rams topped the host St. Genevieve Valiants volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rams now have a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Diego for a Tri-Valley test on Tuesday, April 9. Cate will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-16.

The Valiants (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Salesian (Los Angeles, CA). The Mustangs enter the Camino Real test with a 1-18 record. In their last test, Salesian was knocked off by Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 1-0, in a non-league test.
