In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Montini Catholic Broncos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Rich Township Raptors.
The Broncos (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record.
Next, the Raptors encounter the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 10. Rich Township will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Reavis (Burbank, IL).
