The Lockport Porters softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Joliet West Tigers to 4 in the Porters non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lockport improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Porters host Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a game on Monday, April 8. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-0. Lincoln-Way West won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Oswego (Oswego, IL)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Joliet West will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
