Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the host Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ), 15-7 in a non-league battle.

The Minutemen now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parsippany Hills for a battle on Saturday, April 6. Newark Academy will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Redhawks clash with the Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 8. Parsippany will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
