East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A challenge, on Monday, April 8. East Lincoln will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).

The Pirates now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dixon for a Coastal 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Swansboro will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.
