California High School Baseball - Elk Grove holds off De La Salle

April 6, 2024: Elk Grove, CA 95624

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) and the visiting De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA), saw Elk Grove's baseball squad beat De La Salle by a margin of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Thundering Herd play the Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) in a battle, on Monday, April 8. Elk Grove will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record.

The Spartans now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Foothill for a battle on Wednesday, April 10. De La Salle will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-2.
