Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Griffins now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chino Hills for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Los Alamitos will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Foothill falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
