Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI), 15-8 in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dakota for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 9. Stoney Creek will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Forest Hills Northern Huskies (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 10. Lakeview will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 13-10 non-league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI).
