The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Livermore Cowboys to 5 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Archbishop Mitty moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Monarchs host Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a West Catholic game on Wednesday, April 10. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 13-0. Saint Francis won 8-2 in their recent non-league game against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA)

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the San Ramon Valley Wolves (Danville, CA) in a East Bay game, on Tuesday, April 9. Livermore will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA).
