Kentucky High School Softball - Austin gets by Meade County

The Austin Black Bears nipped the host Meade County Green Waves softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Black Bears (27-12) will now prepare for their battle against Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Senators go into the non-league battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Sparkman held off Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL), 10-5, in a non-league battle.

The Green Waves now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Green County for a non-league battle on Monday, April 8.
