Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Miners now sport a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alhambra for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. Bishop Manogue will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Crater falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 15-4. Spanish Springs won 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage (Brentwood, CA)
