Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin Blue Devils (Bismarck, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), 12-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Armstrong for a Vermilion Valley challenge on Monday, April 8. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will face a Trojans squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Lexington falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Prairie Central lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Streator (Streator, IL)
