Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Greensburg Pirates (Greensburg, IN) and the visiting Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN), witnessed Greensburg's softball squad tip Columbus East by a count of 4-1.

The Pirates now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Batesville for a Eastern Indiana match on Tuesday, April 9. Greensburg will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Columbus East moves to 4-2 on the season. The Olympians host Hauser (Hope, IN) to face the Jets in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 9. The Jets go into the match with a record of 1-1. Hauser won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN)
