Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) and the visiting Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL), witnessed Lake Park's softball squad prevail over Conant by a count of 10-2.

The Lancers now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. Lake Park will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Conant moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cougars host Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to face the Knights in a Mid-Suburban East match on Monday, April 8. The Knights go into the match with a record of 3-3.
