The Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) softball nipped the visiting County Line Indians (Branch, AR), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their bout against Cedarville (Cedarville, AR). The Pirates go into the 3A Region 4 bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Cedarville was edged by Charleston (Charleston, AR), 9-0, in a non-league bout.
The Indians now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Mountainburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 9. County Line will confront a Dragons squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Western Yell County (Havana, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 3-6.
