Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) and the visiting Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD), witnessed Elk Point-Jefferson's softball squad tip Sioux Falls Christian by a count of 14-12.

The Huskies now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alcester-Hudson for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. Elk Point-Jefferson will face a Cubs squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Cubs record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Sioux Falls Christian moves to 0-1 on the season. The Chargers host Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to meet the Quarriers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 9. The Quarriers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
