New Holstein Huskies (New Holstein, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters (Elkhart Lake, WI), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roncalli for a Eastern Wisconsin challenge on Tuesday, April 9. New Holstein will battle a Jets squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI). The Jets record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Resorters host Mishicot (Mishicot, WI) to battle the Indians in a Big East - North challenge on Monday, April 8. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
