The Straughn Tigers routed the host Geneva County Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 8-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (13-6) will now prepare for their battle against Slocomb (Slocomb, AL). The Red Tops go into the non-league battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Slocomb held off Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL), 8-2, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Houston County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 9. Geneva County will meet a Lions squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Kinston (Kinston, AL). The Lions record now stands at 1-10.
