The Genoa Area Comets softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Napoleon Wildcats to 1 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Genoa Area moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Comets host Delta (Delta, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 9. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 1-4. Delta lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Hilltop (West Unity, OH)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 10. Napoleon will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
