Sheridan Generals (Thornville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Generals now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Glenn for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Heath falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Newark Catholic (Newark, OH) to face the Green Wave in a Licking County challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Newark Catholic lost 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Grove City (Grove City, OH)
