In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Hicks Pirates softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Simpson Broncos.
Coming up next, the Pirates battle the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 8. Hicks will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 16-14 record after their 16-0 league win over Westlake (Westlake, LA).
The Broncos (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, Glenmora was routed by Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA), 11-1, in a league outing.
