Kingman Bulldogs (Kingman, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Page Sand Devils (Page, AZ), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Tonopah Valley for a 3A West challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Kingman will battle a Phoenix squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Page falls to 13-12 on the campaign. The Sand devils travel to Chinle (Chinle, AZ) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A North challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. Chinle won 22-12 in their recent league challenge against Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ)
