South Bend Clay Colonials (South Bend, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host LaVille Lancers (Lakeville, IN), 17-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Colonials now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bremen for a Northern Indiana challenge on Tuesday, April 9. South Bend Clay will battle a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Manchester (North Manchester, IN). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, LaVille falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to South Central (Union Mills, IN) to battle the Satellites in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Satellites enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
