The Zane Trace Pioneers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs to 2 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Zane Trace improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Waverly (Waverly, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 9. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 1-2.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the North Adams Green Devils (Seaman, OH) in a Southern Hills Athletic game, on Monday, April 8.
