Illinois High School Softball - Marist bounces South Elgin

Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.
The RedHawks now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Charles East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 6.
With the loss, South Elgin falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to battle the Hawks in a Upstate Eight challenge on Monday, April 8. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Bartlett lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL)
