The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) and the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), saw Plainfield Central's softball squad nip Neuqua Valley by a count of 4-3.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sandburg for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. Plainfield Central will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Neuqua Valley falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to face the Huskies in a DuPage Valley match on Monday, April 8. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 2-7. Naperville North lost 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)
