The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) and the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), saw New Trier's softball squad nip Rolling Meadows by a count of 7-3.

The Trevians now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Resurrection for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. New Trier will face a Bandits squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Bandits record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Barrington (Barrington, IL) to face the Fillies/Broncos in a Mid-Suburban West match on Monday, April 8. The Fillies/Broncos enter the match with a record of 8-0. Barrington won 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL)
