In Saturday's non-league contest, the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) softball team the host Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH), by a margin of 6-4.

With the triumph, Steele moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Comets host Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to play the Shoremen in a Southwestern contest on Sunday, April 7. The Shoremen come into the contest with a record of 0-5. Avon Lake lost 9-4 in their recent league contest against Midview (Grafton, OH)
