The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) baseball the visiting East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY), 6-3 in Sunday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Halifax County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. Franklin-Simpson will clash with a Comets team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Kennett (Conway, NH). The Comets record now stands at 5-6.
With the defeat, East Jessamine drops to 3-7 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY) to clash with the Titans in a District 46 challenge on Monday, April 14. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 8-5.
