De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) backers left the game pleased Sunday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 14-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, De La Salle upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Meteors host Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL) to play the Chargers in a GCAC-White game on Tuesday, April 8. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 9-2. Aurora Central Catholic won 14-1 in their recent league game against Trinity (River Forest, IL)

The Crusaders now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Back of the Yards College Prep for a Chicago Public White South game on Monday, April 7. Kennedy will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to Kennedy (Chicago, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.
