New Jersey High School Softball - Red Bank Catholic held off by Immaculate Heart Academy

In Sunday's non-league test, the Immaculate Heart Academy Blue Eagles (Washington Township, NJ) softball squad got by the visiting Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Blue Eagles clash with the Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ) in a Big North - United test, on Wednesday, April 9. Immaculate Heart Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Angels go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ).

The Caseys (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ). The Mustangs go into the Shore - A North test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Marlboro was nudged by Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 5-4, in a league test.
