In Monday's non-league bout, the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) baseball squad the visiting Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC), by a tally of 4-1.
Next up, the Screaming Eagle encounter the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 7. Ashley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 8-8 record after their 5-4 non-league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions enter the non-league bout with a 8-7 record. In their last bout, North Brunswick edged Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA), 15-8, in a non-league bout.
