The Pontotoc Warriors baseball squad (Pontotoc, MS), was edged 7-6 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS)

With the triumph, Corinth moves its record to 12-10 on the season. The Warriors host New Albany (New Albany, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, April 7. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 17-7. New Albany lost 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against Amory (Amory, MS)

The Warriors now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a 5A Region 1 contest on Tuesday, April 7. Pontotoc will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 0-19.
