In Monday's non-league match, the host Cabot Panthers softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Lonoke Jackrabbits.

The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR). The Hurricane come into the 6A Central match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Jonesboro notched a victory over Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR), 20-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Jackrabbits battle the Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR) in a 4A Region 6 match, on Tuesday, April 7. Lonoke will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 9-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR).
