In Monday's non-league test, the Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) softball squad the host Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR), by a tally of 3-0.

Next, the Greyhounds clash with the Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR) in a 3A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, April 7. Salem will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Bearkatz go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 18-3 league win over Bergman (Bergman, AR).

The Warriors (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Life Way Christian (Centerton, AR). The Warriors go into the 2A Region 1 test with a 2-5 record.
