The Fairview Panthers softball team scored 24 runs and held the host Simpson Broncos to 17 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabeth for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 7. Fairview will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.
With the loss, Simpson moves to 9-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA) to confront the Hornets in a C District 3 battle on Thursday, April 9. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 3-10.
