Arizona High School Softball - Independence bounces Carl Hayden Community

The Independence Patriots routed the host Carl Hayden Community Falcons softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Patriots (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers go into the 5A Central battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, North Canyon was routed by Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 27-0, in a league battle.
The Falcons now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Camelback for a 5A Metro battle on Friday, April 9. Carl Hayden Community will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 27-0 league loss to Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
