The Firebaugh Falcons baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host South Gate Rams to 6 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Norwalk (Norwalk, CA). The Lancers go into the Suburban match with a 11-8 record. In their last match, Norwalk edged Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA), 8-0, in a league match.
The Rams (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Maywood CES edged Torres (Los Angeles, CA), 7-3, in a league match.
