The Trinity Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Grimsley Whirlies to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets go into the non-league match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Jordan-Matthews was overwhelmed by Lee County (Sanford, NC), 8-2, in a non-league match.
The Whirlies (5-9) will now prepare for their match against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys go into the Metro 4A match with a 11-3 record. In their last match, Southwest Guilford ran past Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), 6-4, in a league match.
